The aim is to create a media player - something that will play both audio and video - specifically for astronomy (that includes the night sky, planetary science, astrophysics and cosmology). The aim to make it easier for everyone to find the astronomy multimedia resources that are out there and perhaps be entertained at the same time.I'm hooked!
The AMP brings together the RSS feeds from a range of astronomy podcasts and vodcasts, reformats them and displays them in a consistent manner. At the same time, we do our best to keep the branding of the original content producer and provide links to their sites. The AMP just makes it (hopefully) easier to get to the huge variety of content.
